Getting Started

The first and only social media app that creates, schedules and posts content so you don’t have to.

One of the biggest issues for businesses using social media marketing is staying in regular touch with their followers and future customers.

socialsendr was created to help businesses easily and quickly stay in touch with their community on a regular basis.

Research has proven that posting frequently and consistently improves brand awareness and helps build customer loyalty. It also helps keep your brand and profile visible to all. It’s simple to use, letting you schedule a month’s worth of posts with just a single press of a button. You can fully customise when and how often you want posts to go out as well as decide what topics and interests suit your audience.

Hot Tip

Whilst we still recommend that users of our app post their own value messages (that’s why we’ve made sure you can add custom posts yourself), we hope our app will help maintain your customer engagement in-between those times.

The socialsendr Web App is supported on all popular web browsers with any device using a screen resolution of 1080px or higher.

The Web App has been tested on the latest versions of the following browsers for compatibility:

  • Google Chrome
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Internet Explorer version 11 onwards
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Opera

There is no limit to how many devices you can use socialsendr on.

As a single user licence, you can only manage the accounts associated with that licence.

We currently support both Facebook and Twitter.

We will soon be launching Instagram and LinkedIn to the service soon. Other social networks will be announced as the platform develops.

There is a short tutorial in the Settings page under Help & Feedback within the app.

Alternatively, you can visit https://socialsendr.com/howto for our online guide to each of the applications’ pages.

Go to Settings and then select Social Channels. Here you can enter your credentials for your personal Twitter and Facebook account. You can also connect to your Facebook business page.

Please note that you need to have admin rights on your FB business page to be able to add the account to the app.

There are two ways to set up your Industries & Interests preferences:

  1. Go to Settings, select Industries & interests. There you can select / deselect which Primary and Secondary sectors and interests you want associated with your posts.
  2. Go to Settings, select Help & Feedback. Here you can replay the Tutorial which will take you through the initial setup wizard when you first signed in.

Your Primary choice will be your prioritised posts and will be automatically added to your posting schedule.

Secondary choices will be added to your timeline & day view but will not automatically post. You can add these to your posting schedule as quickly as you review them.

Note: You can only select one Primary choice, but as many Secondary choices as you like.

Go to Settings, then select Post Scheduling.

Here you will find 4 1-touch buttons (Everyday, Every Other Day, Weekdays and Weekends) to quickly set your post frequency. Choosing any of these selections will activate your post frequency with both morning and afternoon posts. You will also see that each day you have selected will be highlighted with a green dot in your calendar.

Specific days of the week

You can select a specific day of the week (only Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays etc.). Selecting a day of the week will schedule posts to only go out on those days of the month. you can select any combination of days to help you optimise your posting preferences.

Save your changes!

Whenever you make changes to your schedule, don’t forget to press the save button (bottom right) or your changes will not be remembered.

Yes you can!

It’s one of the key features of socialsendr.  In the Day View, select the post you’d like to edit by simply giving it a single tap. You will be given the option to Edit, Archive or Delete the post. Select Edit and you will then be taken to the Custom post screen for that post. Here you can edit the words, change the image, change the posting times, set repeats and choose which social channels the post should go to to suit you.

Hot Tip!

Using this capability is a great way to use the content for ideas and then tailor it with your own value style. Give it a go!
